Our 4-week RISE Apprenticeship Program offers a hands-on introduction to the financial advisory world — perfect for fresh graduates and mid-career individuals exploring a meaningful career in finance. Through guided mentorship, workshops, and real-life client simulations, participants gain firsthand experience of what it takes to be a professional financial consultant while discovering if this path aligns with their goals and values.

When I first started this apprenticeship program, my goal was simple — to create a safe and structured environment where individuals could truly experience what it means to be a financial consultant before committing to the path. Whether you're a fresh graduate or a mid-career switcher, this 4-week journey is designed to give you clarity, confidence, and real-world exposure to the financial industry.
Over the years, I’ve seen countless participants discover their potential — some finding their calling in this career, while others gaining valuable life and financial skills they carry into any profession. My vision is for every apprentice to walk away not just with knowledge, but with a deeper understanding of how financial planning can transform lives — starting with their own.

 2025 DKO's RISE Apprenticeship Graduation Night will be held on June 27th, 2025. Tonight is the night to celebrate the completion of a month of the RISE Apprenticeship program. |  On June 20th, 2025, during DKO's RISE Apprenticeship Do Good event, our apprentices and leaders assisted in delivering SG 60 goodie bags prepared by Prudential to the beneficiaries. |  In the third week of June 2025, DKO's RISE Apprenticeship program featured a role-play assignment. Financial Services Director Ma Liyuan, along with financial consultants Kim Kok and Grace Ng, assisted the apprentices in practicing conversations with real-life clients. |

I'm grateful to have the opportunity to sit in and see what the industry is like behind closed doors. After completing the 4 - week Rise apprenticeship, I learned that it’s more than just selling - it’s about helping people achieve and protect their financial goals.
Over four weeks, we explored different industry aspects and completed projects that enhanced our learning. Despite my lack of a financial background, the mentors' guidance made me feel secure and supported. Interns were also included in all agency events throughout the internship.
I would recommend this internship to anyone who only has a superficial understanding of the industry. Before starting, I was an outsider and believed the profession was solely about selling. However, after completing the internship, I’ve learned that the industry is much more complex than it appears from the outside. While you can’t control others' opinions, you can control your own perspective. So, don’t let others' opinions dictate your decision to explore new opportunities.
