FINANCIAL CONSULTANT

Reports To: Agency Leader 
Commitment: Full-Time

Overview

Financial Consultants (FCs) are the core of our business at DKO. As part of a dynamic and purpose-driven team, you will provide comprehensive financial advisory solutions to individuals and corporations. You will build and nurture client relationships while creating long-term, sustainable financial solutions tailored to clients’ needs.

​

FCs can explore two potential career paths: a professional path focused on advisory excellence or a management path leading teams and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Advisory Service

  • Actively prospect for new clients and develop meaningful relationships.

  • Understand clients’ financial goals and recommend tailored solutions to meet their needs.

  • Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with existing clients.

  • Achieve personal sales targets and contribute to the agency’s overall business growth.

Staying Relevant &
Value-Added Services

  • Attend in-house training programs, professional development workshops, and certification courses.

  • Keep up to date with financial market trends and Company’s product offerings.

  • Continuously enhance knowledge and skills to provide superior advisory services and add value to clients.

Entrepreneurial Approach
& Collaborations

  • Manage your client portfolio like your own business, taking ownership of growth and performance.

  • Explore collaborative opportunities with external vendors or corporate partners to expand reach.

  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives or events to strengthen your personal brand and client engagement.

Requirements

Mandatory:
  • Minimum Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, A-Level, or Bachelor’s Degree in any field.

  • Passionate about advisory services and helping others achieve financial goals.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

  • No prior experience required; comprehensive in-house training will be provided.

Preferred (Bonus):
  • Former or current Bankers, Insurance, or Property agents.

  • Prior sales or financial advisory experience.

Overview
The RISE Apprenticeship program is designed for fresh graduates or mid-career professionals who are curious about the financial planning services industry and want to explore a career as a Financial Consultant. Over four weeks, participants will gain hands-on exposure to client advisory, business development, and the day-to-day operations of a financial planning advisory career.
